Working for SecuriCare (Medical) Limited – Home Delivery service for stoma products. SecuriCare Nurses cover most of the country – this role is to speak to the people in the areas that may or may not be covered with our nurses. Ensuring good customer care is given to all patients at all times Cleansing your own files regularly that hold customer details Ringing Customers to check they are happy with the service and to introduce new products etc. Soft sell – no cold calling. All leads come from existing customers or people who have asked for samples. Identify business opportunities and convert these opportunities into sales Maintain and increase revenue

Stoma Care Nurse

Job Description
You will act as a key worker for patients and their families through diagnosis and subsequent surgery providing clinical expertise, on-going information and support. You will deliver the best care and provide expert advice and education to a multi-disciplinary team within the Trust Dynamic and forward thinking you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being flexible to meet the needs of the service and patients. Whilst being an important member of a larger team, you will be comfortable with independence as your day to day activities will be carried out autonomously. Being based in a hospital, visiting patients in the community may be part of your role; therefore a driving licence is essential. Applications are encouraged from registered nurses with a minimum of three years’ post registration experience with at least one in a relevant speciality who have the determination to progress professionally in stoma care nursing. Must be able to provide evidence of professional development.

- Registered Nurse - Soma care Nursing course;- foundation & advanced or equivalent - Recent evidence of continuing professional development - Post-basic experience of surgical/colorectal nursing - Previous experience of stoma care nursing - Be able to demonstrate commercial awareness
