SecuriCare staff create cottage garden 02 November 2009

Eight members of the SecuriCare team recently did some landscaping and gardening at the Hairoun Day Centre. This centre is a charity run social club for elderly people in the High Wycombe area. Clients of the centre engage in weelchair exercise, crafts, card games and dominoes. Their garden was in a real state so SecuriCare, in collaboration with the 4C group, provided the plants, furniture and labour to make it into a fantastic cottage style garden.

World Ostomy Day Fashion Parade 29 September 2009

Just a quick reminder about the World Ostomy Day Fashion Parade being held on 3 October at the Eden Centre, High Wycombe. House of Fraser are supplying the clothes for fifteen ostomate models, with make-up by Clarins, hair by local hairdressers Sassy & Co. There will be some personalities amongst the line up: Pam Flint who is Dennis Waterman's partner, Hannah Waterman and the commentary will be given by Duncan Wells (a voice over artist and television presenter), who will tell how he survived the terrible accident which led to his stoma formation surgery.

Swansea Open Day 03 September 2009

The Colostomy Association will be holding an open day from 12:30pm-8:00pm on 10 September at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea.
